My Willy traveled very comfortably!!.First time , We traveled by Train .My dog in his carrier helped me a lot with his transportation.
We picked up our new dog at the airport and flew him home in this. It is very well made and sturdy. It keeps its shape and a flat floor when carried with pet inside. I've had others that did not have a sturdy enough bottom. This is a big carrier so if you are using it to fly a pet check out the dimensions with the airline's requirements. We flew United and they had no problems with it. I know some airlines can be really picky about exact sizing. This did not fit under the seat but no one complained that it was sticking out. We didn't use the wheels but they are also well made and sturdy, even heavy duty I would say. This is a great soft-sided carrier.
This would never go under a seat when you fly with your pet. I feel it was misrepresented in the sd that said airline approved. I sent it back!!!
Having retired from American Airlines I'm fully aware of the under seat measurements 18L x 11W x 11H. My dog is on the larger side of the requirement/restrictions for Pet in Cabin, they should be able to turn around comfortably inside the Pet carrier.Gate Agents and Flight Attendants tried giving me a hard time saying the Pet carrier was too big until I showed them that the wheels came off so the soft carrier could be positioned under the seat.My dog flies Stand-by with me, we got bumped off of 3 flights out of Hartford, Ct this summer. She was fine napping in this carrier while we waited trying to get back to So Calif. (see photo)I'm thrilled with this Pet Carrier.
I highly recommend this item!! Wheels are amazing, they glide easily and track perfectly. I’m happy with all of the mesh areas so air can get into the compartment.
