I bought this for my kitten who seems to already be shaping up to be a proper hiking cat.She loves to play inside of it while she is at home. I've taken her out on a few short trips in it, and now she will climb into it on her own and just sit in there. She'll perch on top of it and meow for me, asking me to pick it up and carry her around the house in it. I've never seen a cat love a carrier before, but she absolutely adores this thing.-1 star because it is not as sturdy as I would like it to be. The frame is held together by 4 plastic poles, and when it gets tossed around too much they can pop out of place. At first I thought the carrier was somehow already broken, but then I realized they could easily be popped back into their sockets. Not too big of a deal, but annoying, and I am not sure yet what that means for the carrier's durability.
I wanted this backpack a lot - this thing looks so nice!But when i put my cat on top - it collapse and couldn't keep the shape. And if my cat was inside - all windows are too small and she can't see.

Looked great but our Havanese puppy (16lbs) could never stay in there for more than a couple of minutes. TOO SMALLso had to return... BUT if you puppy or cat is TINY; this looks like a good carrier
