Pet Grooming Gloves

These gloves work best with longer fur. My mom has a short haired cat that hates to be brushed but doesn't have much getting much fur brushed with these. But I tried them on my kitty who has much longer fur and it worked much better. Still not magic, but a good option for pets that don't care for brushing.

These gloves are ok for grooming your pet. While I think that they should only be used in between their normal grooming. I would not rely on these gloves alone.

I have tried using this one on my cat a few times and doesn't do much in removing any shed hair. She doesn't really like it touching her and she fights me every time. It's a waste of time for me and for her especially with both of us putting up a fight for it not to work properly. It is a great concept just executed poorly

Grabbed this set for my new puppy to train him to enjoy being groomed.I will start off by saying he is a short hair breed so I am not sure how well this would work on a long hair. I don’t foresee an issue just might need to be cleaned multiple times during a grooming session.He seems to like the feeling of the silicone nubs being brushed through his coat and the silicone covers seem to do a good job of holding onto the dead hair that is brushed out. A couple of the holes on the silicone covers were not punched out properly but that was easily fixed with a small Phillips head screwdriver.The Velcro wrist straps make sure the gloves are secured to my hands properly.Happy with this item.

My 6 year old pitbull granddog LOVES to be massaged with these gloves! He will lay still for as long as you’ll do it…No need for the peel off sheet because his fur is micro short & nothing comes off - maybe a few little short hairs here & there.On the other hand, my 15 year old big ol’ pitmix HATES to be brushed with any other tool except these! Forget brushes & furminators - anything hard like that, he freaks. But gloves? Where it’s just your hands stroking him? LOVES it! And his thick coat is shedding for the summer & literally drops while he walks if he’s not brushed (see bowl of fur pic!)I like the peel off silicone layer - I’ve never had a pair of gloves with this feature &, while they can be tricky since so much fur comes off, they do help with quick cleaning to keep going.Using without the peel off layer, it’s not that hard to pick off the fur. When there’s a lot of it, it can peel off in a layer.These are priced higher than other gloves I’ve had in the past, but the peel off layer & the overall quality justifies it.**Thank you for reading this review & I hope that it’s Helpful!** 🐾🐾

I loved the concept of these. Petting the kitties to brush them? Genius. Peel the silicone and the fur lifts off? Brilliant. But getting the silicon liner on the glove? Not so much. I took 10 minutes trying to line up the holes with the liner which was close to impossible. So I’m not a fan. I haven’t tried just the gloves without the pad because my cats are white, but that’s an option, I suppose. The gloves fit well and have Velcro at the wrists to to keep them on.

Grabbed very little hair. Didn’t work great on my golden retriever.

I live with a Siberian Husky, which means I often deal with a lot (a lot!) of pet hair. Brushing is essential, but my dog doesn't always like brushes. The grooming gloves, for whatever reason, often come with just one hand. This particular product comes with both hands and these protective silicon covers (they are supposed to catch dandruff).Overall, they work well and my dog did not mind being brushed with them. It does have a plasticky smell out of the packaging (that my dog did not like), but it dissipated soon enough.Unsure how much the silicon covers helped as my dog doesn't have much dandruff. They are not the easiest to keep on the glove while you are trying to put them on. But when you are wearing the gloves, the silicon cover does stay on.My dog has long hair, that, and this is always amusing, when grooming him with these grooming groves, align and form a structure. I can literally roll the accumulated hair into a little ball that holds its shape.Ultimately, it's not really a matter of what I think, but if the dog liked/approves these gloves... and he does...

We have three cats, one of whom hates being brushed. I thought this might suit her better and so far she seems less annoyed by it.The fact that it’s a pair works well in our house because I’m a righty and my husband is a lefty. 😬The little thin plastic “sheets” that come with make removing the hair from the gloves really fast and easy. My sole reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s a bit of a pain in the butt to get them on the glove in the first place.

I love the intent of these gloves, I really do! The packaging is great - no plastic at all. The company seems to really want to do well by their customers. And perhaps the gloves actually work for some types of animal coats!However, they don't work for the cats I live with. They are definitely not similar in function to a comb. I used the gloves on 2 cats ~ both have short hair. The gloves removed no hair at all. I use with and without the silicone covers (hoping that perhaps without the cover, at least the fabric would remove some fur!) but the gloves picked up zero fur.The cats both enjoyed the feel of the gloves ... perhaps it was like an acupressure massage? So that's a nice benefit. But ... the gloves are not comb-like for these cats.

Did not work with a long double coat like a Pom. Might be better on a short coat like a pug

I have used several grooming gloves and these are my absolute favorites. Very high quality and easy to use, and even easier to clean. Will definitely recommend to others

These gloves worked really. I’ve tried a few different brands of grooming gloves and these have picked up the most fur so far. My dog doesn’t mind it as much as the brush. Would recommend.

The gloves work well, but my pup doesn’t like it being used on belly or legs. Cleaning the hair off can take some patience.
